Cripple Creek – Victor CTE Program

According to the Association of Career and Technical Education, CTE  “prepares youth and adults for a wide range of high-wage, high-skill, high-demand careers.” The Cripple Creek-Victor School District is proud to offer 6 CTE pathways: Theater Technology, Automotive Technology, Agriculture, Culinary Arts, Fire Sciences, and Construction Trades.
The goal for students engaged in CTE pathways is to attain an industry-recognized certification upon graduation from high school so they may either enter directly into the workforce making a livable wage, or continue their education at the post-secondary level. An important component of the CTE programs is student internship opportunities. CC-V will be partnering with local businesses to place students in internships relevant to their chosen pathways.
The CC-V District is very grateful to have received the RISE Grant in January 2021, which will significantly help in growing our CTE pathways, thus enabling the district to offer the most comprehensive CTE educational experience possible. Stay tuned for updates as we progress!
